The Caribbean continues to rebound following the hurricanes last year. Six top hotels in St. Barth's have now revealed their reopening dates for the 2018-19 vacation season.
Hotel Le Toiny – Reopening October 15
Hotel Le Toiny is adding added eight villa suites—each with kitchen, terrace, ocean-view pool and lush landscaping for privacy. A few will have two-story split floor plans with views of Toiny Bay. The Toiny Beach Club will reopen at the same time.
Hotel Christopher St Barth – Reopening October 17
The hotel’s 42 rooms and suites have been renovated and updated as has the Spa Sisley with a new fitness room and equipment. The infinity pool has been relined with mosaics, and the Taino and Mango restaurants offer new menus under the direction of chef Nicolas Tissier.
Le Barthelemy Hotel & Spa – Reopening October 28
Guests will enjoy the addition of two- and three-bedroom beachfront suites, enhanced spa and reimagined dining spaces that include a late night, rooftop bar.
Le Sereno Hotel – Reopening November 17
The relaunch will include a new restaurant, completely redesigned rooms (including new family suites with private pools), a new gym, and enhanced spa facilities.
Cheval Blanc St Barth Isle de France Hotel – Reopening December 1
This signature St. Barth's hotel on Flamands beach will reopen after a significant renovation of its rooms (34 hotel rooms, 4 one-bedroom suites and 2 beachfront villas), its Guerlain spa, the White Bar and its two dining areas—La Cabane de I’isle on the beach, and La Case de I’isle—both overseen by chef Yann Vinsot.
Eden Rock Hotel – Reopening December 22
This historic property on St. Jean bay offers 34 rooms and suites, all of which have been renovated and improved by design studio Martin Brudnizki, and two suites with pools have been added. The Sand Bar remains the main culinary destination of the hotel. The menus remain under the direction of chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
Additionally, there are four hotels in St Barths whose reopening dates have not yet been specified, yet who plan to reopen for the 2018-19 season:
- Le Guanahani, Marigot Bay
- Emeraude Plage Hotel, St. Jean beach
- Tropical Hotel, St. Jean
- Carl Gustaf Hotel, Gustavia
WIMCO is now taking reservations for all of these hotels, and will update reopening dates and availability as needed.
