The Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills has announced the promotion of Antonio Bugarin to the role of general manager. Prior to his recent appointment, Bugarin served as the property’s hotel manager for nearly five years.
At the helm of a team of experienced hospitality professionals, in his new role, Bugarin oversees all operations at the 170-room luxury property including three dining outlets and the Lobby Lounge, along with the La Prairie Spa—touted by the brand as “the only La Prairie spa in California.”
A seasoned hotelier, Bugarin came to Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills in 2018 from Cabo San Lucas, where he served for 14 years as a key member of staff at the One&Only Palmilla, including a position as acting general manager where he helped strengthen every aspect of the well-known resort.
“I am honored to receive this promotion and am endlessly grateful to lead an incredible team of dedicated professionals at the finest property in 90210,” Bugarin said.
The hotel is located at 9850 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills, California. The hotel’s 119 deluxe rooms and 51 suites showcase Art Deco-influenced design created by interior design firm Pierre-Yves Rochon. The hotel offers three venues created by French chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten: the Jean-Georges Beverly Hills, the chef's signature restaurant; The Rooftop by JG; and Jean-Georges Beverly Hills Bar. The La Prairie Spa offers luxe treatments and signature therapies. The hotel also features 6,300 square feet of meeting spaces, ideal for social events, corporate meetings or celebrations.
