Two of Hilton’s luxury resorts on Mexico’s Caribbean coast have moved to an all-inclusive model, and one of them will soon stop taking children. Waldorf Astoria Riviera Maya and Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya both made the switch on Oct. 1, with the Waldorf Astoria set to become adults-only on Jan. 10, 2027.

Advisors with families booked at the Waldorf Astoria should check arrival dates. Existing reservations at both resorts will be honored under their original terms, except for Waldorf Astoria bookings that include guests under 18 arriving on or after Jan. 10. Hilton says the resort will work with those guests to find alternative accommodations.

The two properties are being positioned for different clients. The Waldorf Astoria is aimed at couples and adults who want privacy, with a personal concierge who handles dining, spa, transportation, and excursion planning before and during the stay. The Conrad remains a multigenerational resort with an included kids’ club, and in January it will add Ceiba Club, an adults-only section with its own lounge, pool, and beach, plus access to the contemporary Mexican restaurant Autor.

At both resorts, the rate covers 24-hour in-room dining and a daily restocked minibar. Stays of four nights or more may include one resort experience or off-site excursion, such as a cenote visit at the Conrad.

“Today’s travelers want the freedom and ease of an All-Inclusive resort, paired with the distinctive depth, personalization and sense of place they expect from Hilton’s award-winning luxury brands,” said Sylvia Scholey, Hilton’s vice president and global head of all-inclusive and resorts.
