The Wardman Group has acquired the 57-room Seven Hills Inn and will partner with Scout Hotel & Resort Management, who will operate the property.
The Washington, D.C.-based real estate investment firm bought the inn June 15 and plans to invest $2.2 million renovating it. This marks the second time the two companies have worked together. Scout Hotel & Resort Management currently runs Ocean Gate Resort in Boothbay, Maine for The Wardman Group.
The inn, located in Lenox, Massachusetts, caters to families, corporate groups and couples. The property is spread across 26 acres of lawn and gardens and includes three buildings, the original Manor House, the Carriage House and the Terrace Building. The inn plans for the renovations to take place late 2018.
The Seven Hills Inn is minutes away from the Tanglewood music festival and a host of other cultural points of interests. Guests will be able to visit the nearby Shakespeare & Company, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Theatre and the Norman Rockwell Museum. The countryside offers outdoor opportunities such as hiking and biking.
The Wardman Group, founded in 2016, mainly works in buying and improving properties in the hospitality business. It owns the Fisher Inn and the Hadley House resorts in the Florida Keys, as well as Ocean Gate Resort in Southport, Maine. Scout Hotel & Resort Management provides management services for hotels and resorts across the Eastern Seaboard and the Caribbean.
