Westin Hotels & Resorts has announced a global partnership with TRX, bringing the training and fitness system to more than 200 WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studios worldwide. In addition to the curated content in the new TRX App, both brands have created a custom pre-run workout, allowing Westin Run Concierges to enhance group runs and leverage TRX equipment—TRX Suspension Trainers and Functional Training Tools—available in the hotels.
Starting next month, WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studios will have a selection of new strength, cardio, stretching and core equipment, including foam rollers, strength bands, medicine balls, premium yoga mats, stability balls, jump ropes, kettlebells and the TRX Suspension Trainer.
Additionally, custom workouts have been created by Westin and TRX, designed specifically for travelers targeting issues like jet lag, stress and sitting for extended hours on an airplane or in the office.
To supplement the TRX training equipment, guests can download the TRX App. The app comes complete with audio coaching that reacts in real-time with training tips based on the user’s biometric data, and includes a selection of free instructional videos led by TRX instructors that are designed to make it easy for travelers to keep up with their fitness routines while traveling.
Westin’s partnership with TRX is the latest addition to the brand’s wellness offerings. Westin has also implemented Peloton commercial-grade bikes in select guest rooms and added curated SuperFoodsRx dining menus, designed to embody the brand’s “Six Pillars of Well-Being: Sleep Well, Eat Well, Move Well, Feel Well, Work Well and Play Well.”
