The Westin Nirup Island Resort & Spa Debuts in Indonesia’s Batam

Westin Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of The Westin Nirup Island Resort & Spa in Indonesia’s Batam, part of the Riau Archipelago. Located on Nirup Island, the resort is just a 20-minute ferry ride from Singapore’s HarbourFront Terminal or 40 minutes away from Harbour Bay Batam. The wellness-focused resort spans the entire private island, offering such experiences as nature walks, snorkeling, wellness workshops and beyond.

Good to know: Guests can enjoy a seamless arrival and exclusive access with on-site customs and immigration facilities, along with the convenience of docking their yachts at the private marina.

The Westin Nirup Island Resort & Spa has 94 guestrooms and suites, along with 52 private villas, all with large balconies, outdoor spaces or terraces that frame views of the Singapore skyline. Each accommodation offers the brand's signature beds, the Westin Heavenly Shower and premium bath amenities. The villas are arranged in clusters of two.

The resort's dining experiences include Island Kitchen, an all-day dining destination where guests can savor locally inspired and international cuisines showcased through interactive live cooking stations; Nirup Social Bar & Lounge, which offers signature coffee creations, juices and craft cocktails; Salt Simply Seafood, an ocean-to-table concept, complete with sea views; and Constellate Pool Bar, a rooftop venue where guests can enjoy 360-degree views.

The resort houses an array of meeting and wedding spaces, too. Spanning over 4,840 square feet, the Ballroom is suitable for weddings or corporate conferences.
