Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve has announced it will reopen its doors on July 1.
The health and wellbeing of guests and the “ladies and gentlemen” of Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve remains the top priority, the resort says. To that effect, it has enhanced its guidelines for cleanliness and measures have been implemented to meet the new standards aligned to the “Sanitation and Cleaning Protocol” of the Baja California Sur Government and in line with Marriott International’s guidelines of “Commitment to Clean.”
Zadún has 115 guestrooms and suites, many of which have an individual pool and terrace, within 42 two-story villas. Among Zadún’s 15 room categories is the property’s signature villa, the Grand Reserve Villa, which has nearly 6,000 square feet of living space, two large bedrooms, five lounges, a pool, jacuzzi, private kitchen, gym, living room, two full bathrooms and two half-bathrooms.
All guests enjoy the assistance of a Tosoani, or private attendant, from the guest’s arrival experience through departure—whether that means private breakfast on the guestroom terrace, a one-on-one agave tasting with the resort’s mixologist, or more.
Zadún also has the 30,000-square-foot Spa Alkemia, complete with a variety of customized, locally inspired treatments and open-format spaces. Zadún has four food and beverage venues on property, which offer outdoor seating, where guests can enjoy a range of flavors from Mexican street food-inspired dishes, to ceviche, to fire-cooked bites and more.
A deeper understanding of the natural habitats in Baja California and the protected marine sanctuaries of the Sea of Cortez are the focus of Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ambassadors of the Environment program at Zadún. Offering activities for children, families and adults, Zadún’s Ambassadors of the Environment also offers a new environmental stewardship component. In addition, this summer, the resort will be launching Camp Zadún, inviting children to enjoy a camp experience, where they will enjoy activities like yoga to tie-dye to clay art, origami and more. Lunch, healthy snacks and refreshments are included.
Guests of Zadún have direct access to the Puerto Los Cabos Golf Course, adjacent to the hotel. The 27-hole golf resort has three championship courses designed by Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus.
