In the sunny south of France, the Oetker Collection recently launched new spas by La Prairie at its two Riviera luxury hotels. The ultra-hotel group, comprising 10 hotels in international locations as diverse as Courchevel, Baden-Baden, the Seychelles and São Paulo, teamed up with the renowned Swiss brand to take it up a notch. First created in 1978, La Prairie is today a market leader in luxury cosmetics with an innovative approach to beauty.
The Château Saint-Martin & Spa—set on 34 acres of spectacular rolling countryside near Vence, with panoramic views to the shimmering Mediterranean—is ushering in the summer season with the Spa Saint-Martin by La Prairie. In addition to the four treatment rooms and the couple’s treatment room (equipped with a private spa crystal sauna), it’s possible to book a treatment in the hotel’s verdant gardens. Spa facilities include a hammam, experience shower and beauty room.
Sixteen miles south, at the tip of the Cap d’Antibes, Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc is also showing off a new spa by La Prairie. Situated in the legendary hotel’s rose garden, the Spa Eden-Roc by La Prairie has four treatment rooms and a couple’s room complemented by a sauna, steam room, experience shower and outdoor patio. A guest favorite are the plein air massages, amidst the wisteria trees in two gazebos or on the beach. Tip: La Prairie has developed an exclusive 60-minute treatment for the Spa Eden-Roc, called the “Legendary Cape Beauty with Caviar Water”—designed to moisturize and firm the skin, diminishing signs of aging.
