Curtain Bluff Appoints Andrea Balladori as General Manager

Curtain Bluff, a luxury fully inclusive resort in Antigua, has announced the appointment of Andrea Balladori as general manager.

A hospitality veteran, Balladori has more than 30 years in the hotel industry. He joins Curtain Bluff after serving as the executive assistant manager at Gayana Marine Resort in Sabah, Malaysia. He previously held positions at Grosvenor House Park Lane and Dukes Hotel in London, Careys Manor in Hampshire and back in his home country of Italy at Hotel Il Pellicano in Porto Ercole, Tuscany. Balladori has also worked in five-star boutique properties in the Congo to South East Asia.

Upon the resort’s reopening (on October 26) following a seasonal closure, all 12 of the Bluff Suites will be completely refreshed with new interiors, natural stone tiling, and updated bathrooms and furnishings. This is a continuation of Curtain Bluff’s ongoing plan where in the next 24 months every room will be brand new.

Curtain Bluff is located on 20 landscaped acres on the south coast of Antigua and is surrounded by two sandy beaches. Its fully inclusive rates include gourmet meals, top-shelf bar drinks and water sports, such as scuba diving (for certified divers only), snorkeling, water skiing and more. Curtain Bluff has 72 beachfront accommodations, all with ocean views.

In September, Luxury Travel Advisor noted that Curtain Bluff is just as accommodating for couples as it is families. In addition to the new suites, the beachfront Seagrape restaurant has a new menu by chef Rodrick Beazer that blends Italian and Argentinian fare.
