Marriott International is appointing Erden Kendigelen as multi-property general manager for The St.Regis Amman and Al Manara, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Saraya Aqaba. Kendigelen will oversee the total operations and management of both hotels alongside the senior leadership team.
Erden has been provided several means to develop sophistication and interpersonal skills from more than 20 years of luxury hotel leadership experience in flagship hotels worldwide and of high-profile guest engagement.
Erden was chosen as the GM for his achievement in leading several hotel pre-opening projects and for his experience internationally and the Middle East area. Appointing him as multi-property general manager of both The St. Regis Amman (slated to open in June 2019) and Al Manara Hotel, acts as a vehicle to drive business in Jordan, and market share in Amman and Aqaba.
Prior to this assignment, Erden served as GM at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha and held several leadership positions at Bellagio Resort & Casino Las Vegas and The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park and Atlanta. He was also on board for Ritz-Carlton pre-openings in Los Angeles, Grand Cayman, Denver and Miami.
