Four Seasons Resort Nevis has named Gonzalo Güelman Ros general manager. He brings 25 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry to this roll and will oversee all operations for the property. Currently, the property is updating its image to appeal "to the modern Four Seasons traveler, while preserving the small-island charm."
Before joining Four Seasons Resort Nevis, Güelman Ros served as resort manager at Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita for three-and-a-half years. Previous management experience includes international roles at InterContinental Hotels Group, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt Hotels Corporation and the Alvear Palace Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Güelman Ros’ appointment comes in the midst of a three-year project that will see improvements made to all 196 guestrooms and suites, public spaces, retail outlets, dining outlets and pier, in addition to a new signature pool.
Significant infrastructure work throughout the resort has already been completed; all resort activities will remain open during the remainder of the project.
Four Seasons Resort Nevis is located on the western coast of the Caribbean island of Nevis. It was built on a former sugar and coconut plantation dating to the late 1790s. The island has no traffic lights, no fast food, and no building taller than a coconut tree or built above 1,000 feet in elevation.
