The Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa and Hotel Terra Jackson Hole, managed by Noble House Hotels & Resorts, have just announced the appointment of Matt White as both locations’ new director of sales.
In this new role, White will oversee all sales strategies including developing the annual sales budget, showcasing meetings in the mountains to corporate meeting planners, continuing to grow Spur Catering and developing the value-season programs for groups, the press release said.
White brings a decade of experience to his new post, most recently serving as the director of sales at The Wort Hotel in Jackson, WY. In this post, he directed onsite group sales, catering and marketing efforts, all while exceeding 2012 to 2015 group sales revenue goals.
Showcasing years of experience with other luxury brands such as Hyatt Hotels, Preferred Real Estate and Vail Resorts, Inc., he was also previously the sales manager at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, where he was a member of Hyatt Hotel’s “Sales Team of the Year.”
From 2008 to 2012, he held the position of sales manager at the Snake River Lodge & Spa, where he exceeded annual room night and revenue sales goals in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
White is a graduate of Valparaiso University with a bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations as well as Saint Xavier University with a master’s degree in business administration. He spends his free time as an adjunct instructor at Central Wyoming College where he teaches courses in hospitality sales and marketing. He is also a member of the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce’s Destination Sales and Marketing Committee.
