Travel and hospitality marketing company MMGY Global announced the appointments of Katie Briscoe as president and Craig Compagnone as chief operating officer. The two bring a combined 24 years of experience leading and developing marketing strategies for MMGY Global’s clients.
Briscoe, MMGY Global’s first female president, will lead the company’s growth in acquiring and developing core marketing services and talent. Additionally, she will head its marketing communications services, leading the development of advertising, marketing technology and data, public relations, social media and more for its clients.
During her ten years working for MMGY Global, Briscoe has led marketing strategy and campaigns for clients like Wyndham Hotel Group, Sixt Rental Car, Marriott International, Namibia Tourism Board, Destination DC and Club Med. She is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences, including Luxury Travel Advisor’s ULTRA Summit.
As MMGY Global’s new chief operating officer, Compagnone will lead company operations and support services across its 10 global offices. He will be responsible for the integration of the company’s portfolio of brands and drive continued growth. Specifically, he will oversee the company’s research and representation brands DK Shifflet and Myriad, support the management of brands Grifco, Ophir and Hills Balfour and oversee the company’s events DMO Mojo, Summit at Vail and Summit at London.
Compagnone, working for MMGY Global for 14 years, has developed marketing strategy, led brand repositioning and created industry partnerships for clients that include Marriott, Visit Oakland, Windstar Cruises, Delaware North, Visit Santa Barbara and the Cleveland Cavaliers. He has also been a frequent speaker at industry conferences events, with his views featured on Luxury Travel Advisor and The New York Times.
