Marriott International is appointing Pedro Rodriguez Madrigal as the hotel manager of Al Manara, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Saraya Aqaba. Under this new role, Rodriguez will be responsible for:
- Guiding the hotel’s different teams in driving business
- Maintaining hotel reputation and high levels of service across all facilities
- Improving market share
- Reinforcing the message of Al Manara Hotel being the best hotel in Aqaba and the first Luxury Collection brand in the Kingdom of Jordan
Rodriguez was chosen for his 20 years of experience in hospitality in the different areas of revenue, front office, rooms and operations, having worked in Hotel Alfonso XIII, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Seville; The St. Regis New York; Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel, Qatar; and W Amman. Rodriguez was involved in the pre-opening of W Amman Hotel as the executive assistant manager in rooms, generating success and high guest satisfaction index to the property.
Al Manara, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Saraya Aqaba, opened last year. The first Luxury Collection property in the Kingdom of Jordon is based on the ancient city of Aqaba. It is located on the shores of the Red Sea (where guests can relax on private beaches) and set against an expansive granite mountain range. Accommodations include 43 suites and two villas.
