Rosewood Hotel Group has appointed Jennifer Jones as the director of global sales. In this role, Jones will be responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities and initiatives for driving revenue through corporate and group bookings in the Eastern U.S. and Canadian markets.
Jones joins Rosewood with over 20 years of sales experience in the luxury hospitality industry. Most recently, Jones served as the group sales manager for Four Seasons Resort & Residences Anguilla. There, Jones was a member of the opening team and oversaw group business for the Midwest and Northeast markets.
Prior to her position at Four Seasons, Jones was the director of sales for 3D Cruise Partners, representing cruise lines and vessels for group, meetings, and incentive travel.
Before assuming her position with 3D Cruise Partners, Jones spent nearly 16 years with Four Seasons under several titles, including account director for corporate and travel industry sales, account director for group sales, and corporate sales manager. In 2014, during her time with the brand, Jones received the Worldwide Sales Person of the Year award, which recognizes the top producing salesperson globally.
Throughout her career, Jones has held positions with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, Oualie Beach Resort in Nevis and one year as a sales manager for Rosewood in the Chicago regional office.
Rosewood has also named George Tanzman the new vice president of finance, Americas and Europe. In this role, Tanzman will be responsible for providing analysis and direction on Rosewood’s operating performance and for managing all aspects of corporate and property finance for all existing and upcoming hotel properties.
Tanzman joins Rosewood with nearly three decades of experience in the financial services sector of the luxury hospitality industry. Most recently, Tanzman served as the chief financial officer for Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas where he was responsible for matters related to corporate and operations accounting, insurance and risk management, development and implementation of information systems, tax planning, and treasury functions.
During his four-and-a-half-year tenure, Tanzman was involved with the openings of three resorts, six spas, and a residential project. Prior to his time with Six Senses, Tanzman spent 22 years with Four Seasons where he held several senior managerial positions around the world, including director of financial analysis for Four Seasons Asia Pacific in Hong Kong.
