After success in the U.S., leveraged by partnerships with Signature Travel Network and Virtuoso, AXUS Travel App announced an international expansion plan. Although the itinerary management software is currently in use by travel planners in more than 25 countries, the company is aiming to pursue further growth in influential global markets.
Axus Travel App founder Julia Douglas has named Bruno-Mathieu Roy as the technology company's business development manager. Formerly a sales manager with Brazilian-based tour operator/DMC Matuete, Roy will oversee Latin America and Europe.
“At Matueté I was coordinating a team to design the most high-end customized itineraries in Brazil—a task that clearly would not have been as easy and efficient without the Axus software,” says Roy. “Axus is an innovative company with huge potential for growth. Most agents don’t realize how it will change their lives until they see it in action.”
In addition to targeting Latin American and European agents and operators, Axus is also focusing on opportunities in Africa and Asia/South Pacific. The Australian Federation of Travel Agents recently recognized Australian agency MTA Travel for their customized MTA Companion, powered by Axus Travel App.
AXUS Travel App automates itinerary creation and delivers a content-rich, interactive mobile itinerary so travel advisors and tour operators can devote more time to selling travel and building stronger relationships with clients. The brand’s advanced platform streamlines how travel planners and service providers communicate with clients, from initial planning to time spent in destinations. AXUS Travel App enables travel managers to differentiate their service and deliver a superior travel experience.
