LE Miami, the invitation-only event for the global shift in high-end travel, will host its fifth year of the “un-conference,” at the Miami Beach Convention Center from Sunday, June 25 to Wednesday, June 27.
The official LE Miami opening event, Ministry of Ideas, will be hosted by EAST, Miami on Sunday, June 25. As part of the official LE 2017 program, Ministry of Ideas aims to inspire creativity and innovation in travel by introducing the industry to the hottest global trends. Speakers include representatives from Google, Cadillac, Adidas, Yoox Net-A-Porter Group, and others.
LE Miami is focused on the “collision of luxury and lifestyle” and aims to be catalyst for the next generation of travel. The annual forum is designed to connect buyers, lifestyle travel brands, and hotels. It also provides insight on the latest and most innovative developments in the market and the opportunity to strengthen and revive industry connections.
The "un-conference," has identified three themes for the 2017 Ministry of Ideas: Cultivating Communities, New Horizons and Contemporary Consumption. Topics to be discussed during the workshops include influencer strategies, digital advertising, artificial intelligence, data mapping, wearable technology and brand activism.
LE Miami is expected to draw a crowd of approximately 1,300 senior-level industry professionals, including high-end buyers, cutting-edge exhibitors, and media. Attendees will have four days to make connections with some of travel’s most influential and creative players.
In the last 20 years, a new charge of creative, design-led and community-integrated “lifestyle’” hotels have transformed the travel industry. The emergence of the new “creative class,” representing 30 percent of the Western workforce and growing by 7 percent every year, has driven demand for travel products that are unique, culturally connected and bespoke.
LE Miami qualifies their buyers by their business mix so that the event's global leisure, corporate and entertainment buyers reflect the buyer's business needs. Taking cues from the world of art, fashion, music and design, LE Miami fuses exhibitor stands with spaces to network and be inspired, including a DJ booth, bar, art installations and big screens.
