This spring, Bella Guatemala Travel will be offering the all-inclusive Lost Kingdoms of the Mayas tour, allowing travelers to hike, climb, and explore ancient Maya ruins. The dates available are May 3-14 and June 25 - July 8.
The Lost Kingdom of the Maya destinations include Tikal National Park, Yaxha, with over 500 structures, Mixco Viejo, with its Aztec and Toltec influences, and Copán, just across the border in Honduras. Additionally, the tour includes a visit via helicopter to the remote El Mirador, where the director of the Mirador Basin Project, Dr. Richard Hansen, will personally lead guests on a tour of the extensive excavation site. Known as the “Cradle of Maya Civilization,” the site is home to La Danta Pyramid, which is among the largest pyramids in the world.
Archaeology and ecotourism experts lead all Bella Guatemala Tours, and highlights of the tour include jungle trekking and zip lining in Ixpanapajul.
The tours also allow for free time; during which, travelers are encouraged to discover Guatemala’s many other attractions, ranging from shopping in artisan markets to visiting archaeological museums and collections to exploring the cobblestone streets of Antigua.
Tour pricing includes international flights from the U.S., luxury accommodations, three meals daily, transportation, tours, entrance fees, bilingual tour guides, taxes and gratuities, as an all-inclusive tour. All Bella Guatemala Travel tours are comprised of small groups of no more than 16 guests.
In addition to the Lost Kingdoms of the Mayas tour, Bella Guatemala Tours has announced its 10-day Easter week tour package and Dia de los Muertos Giant Kite Festivale tour, from October 25 through November 4.
