Jena Gardner, founder and CEO of JG Black Book, a luxury travel consultancy firm based in New York City, purchased Revealed America (formally known as National Parks Revealed) from Marty Behr and Mark Campbell, the company’s founders.
Gardner, a Montana native, will be leading the Revealed America team that creates and shares the many incredible outdoor travel experiences available in the Western USA. Through the acquisition, Gardner will serve as chairwoman of Revealed America, providing strategy and business development support.
Revealed America designs fully customized vacations for the National Parks and Monuments, Alaska and California. Its dedicated travel agents create trips within the regions for active and curious upscale travelers and their families. Its team of private guides thoroughly research, vet and experience the parks, hotels, resorts and lodges before they are ever highlighted in an itinerary. Provided for guests are local experts in geology, wildlife, Native culture, art, photography, history and more.
Behr noted that Revealed America has seen significant growth since the company’s inception in 2012.
Through the acquisition, Revealed America will now be a sister company to JG Black Book and Heritage Tours, which Gardner also owns. All three companies run independently of each other and Revealed America will continue to deliver the unique custom tour programs and exceptional customer service and operations that have helped the company to achieve its phenomenal growth and reputation.
One percent of all Revealed America revenues are donated to youth in National Parks programs.
Last year, Gardner purchased Heritage Tours Private Travel from owner Joel Zack. The company crafts custom vacations to Morocco, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
