With Luxo Italia’s new Insider Experience Tuscanny Tour, guests can get an exclusive look at the Palio di Siena from a private window facing the Piazza del Campo, the location of the bi-annual horserace and folk festival. Every year on July 2 and August 16, the medieval city has 10 of its 17 contradas (neighborhoods) compete for victory.
In addition to the private viewing and exclusive dining opportunities in the area, Luxo Italia includes a visit to the family estate of renowned opera singer Andrea Bocelli for a wine tasting and one-on-one discussion with musician Sting's wine connoisseur and sommelier. The insider experience also affords guests the chance to enjoy a secluded dinner in one of the ancient towers of the medieval town of San Gimignano, a UNESCO world heritage site. Also available are helicopter tours over wine country, cooking classes at local farms or in top restaurants, and private tours of Siena and Florence.
Travelers can choose to enjoy the authentic experiences while staying at a luxury villa or boutique hotel in the countryside. VIP airport assistance, private transfers by luxury car, and 24/7 personal assistance by phone is included with all Luxo Italia tours. The three-night package starts at $7,500 per person based on double occupancy.
