The Napa Valley Wine Train has announced several new experiences including the expansion of its inaugural Quattro Vino tour, which will now include four new tours – Legacy, Estate, Collective, and a fourth to be announced soon. Quattro Vino stops at three of Napa Valley’s most renowned wineries aboard renovated 1915 Pullman railcars beginning Thursday, June 15.
In addition to its daytime experiences, the Napa Valley Wine Train will introduce new Twilight Private Tours that will allow guests to enjoy an evening train journey to Raymond Vineyards or Grgich Hills Estate. Twilight Private Tours include gourmet appetizers and wine tastings onboard (plus dessert and coffee upon return) and transportation to an exclusive evening dining experience at the iconic wineries, only open to guests of the Napa Valley Wine Train. The new Twilight Private Tours is scheduled to launch on Friday, July 14.
The four new Quattro Vino tours will begin with a sparkling wine tasting, followed by a four-course Napa Valley-style meal curated by the Napa Valley Wine Train’s executive chef Donald Young, and then tastings at three Napa wineries. After departing from the station at 10:15 a.m., guests will embark on a six-hour, 36-mile roundtrip journey from the town of Napa to the three premier wineries, arriving back at the train station at 4:15 p.m.
- The Legacy Tour will include tastings and tours at Robert Mondavi, Charles Krug, and V. Sattui
- The Estate Tour will include tastings and tours at Domain Chandon, Hall, and Inglenook
- The Collective Tour will include tastings and tours at Raymond, Beringer, and St. Supéry
- The fourth tour’s name and wineries will be announced at a later date

For the Twilight Private Tours, passengers will depart the train station at 5:45 p.m. to enjoy a gourmet appetizer and a wine pouring aboard the train, followed a dinner at the winery paired with additional wines. Dessert will be served on the return journey, with the train arriving back at the station at 10:15 p.m. Tickets for the Twilight Private Tours start at $339 per person and are only available on Saturdays, with availability dependent on other experiences.
