Off the Map Travel has launched a new villa property that allows guests to view the Northern Lights from the comfort of a king-sized bed. Located on the southern side of Tromso Island in Norway, Villa Telegrafbukta comes with a private rooftop balcony where guests can lay out under the stars under layers of sheep wool, pillows and goose down duvets.
Available from September through March, the new villa allows guests to hunt the Northern Lights in luxury. Should the view from their Aurora bed not be enough, Off the Map Travel provides unlimited, 24-hour access to the villa’s chauffeur-driven Tesla. Guests can drive around the city, hunting out the best viewing spots, of venture into the wilderness away from light pollution.
Villa Telegrafbukta has four bedrooms and can accommodate up to six people comfortably. Stays at the villa include a private chef, personal hostess and the chauffeur-driven car. When they’re not looking for the Northern Lights, guests can drive to the South Lyngen region or to the neighboring islands of Kvaløya and Breivikeidet.
Off the Map Travel offers additional activities in the region. Travelers can hire a private helicopter or mini-yacht to explore the surrounding events, go dogsledding or snowmobiling or simply stay in at the villa for a massage or beauty treatment.
