Family-owned tour group Trafalgar introduced its new dedicated Africa program. Consisting of 10 different trips traveling through nine countries, the lineup offers intimate experiences throughout the continent.
Trafalgar will offer small tour groups, usually consisting of 12 to 15 people, but going as low as only four individuals. The company’s ten packages present travelers with three different trip styles: Country Explorer, Regional Explorer and Mini Stay.
The program will kick off this December with Christmas departures for the African Safari Adventure and Essence of South Africa tours. The 13-night safari package will pass through Kenya and Tanzania, traversing the plains of the Maasai Mara and Serengeti. The nine-night South African tour will start off in Cape Town and bring participants across the country in search of wildlife and then on to Johannesburg.
These two packages will begin their regular season January 2019. Joining them that month will be three more packages, together traveling through Zambia, Botswana and South Africa.
Best of South Africa will start off in Johannesburg, pass through Swaziland, then travel along the southern coast. The Botswana Delta Experience will guide travelers through the country’s wilderness. Guests can see the world’s largest waterfalls and explore Chobe National Park on Trafalgar’s Victoria Falls Experience.
Starting in mid-June of 2019, Namibia Explorer will guide guests through the country’s national parks and show them some of the country’s greatest natural sites. Trips to Egypt and Morocco will also be coming next year, starting in March and April, respectively.
