On their recent visit to Morocco, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle participated in some of the experiences that Kensington Tours offers on its Morocco Highlights & High Atlas Mountains trip. The tour company even claims that the royal couple is rumored to have stayed at the Kasbah du Toubkal, the itinerary’s featured property in the High Atlas Mountains.
The recently updated itinerary covers nine days of travel, the two of which are dedicated to the High Atlas Mountains. Arriving in the region on the seventh day of the trip, guests have the rest of the day to explore on their own. The following day, the itinerary includes a guided off-road trip, as well as a visit to Immouzer de Kandar for a private Berber cooking class and a traditional meal.
The rest of the trip includes visits to three of Morocco’s four most populous cities. Guests receive private guided tours of Casablanca and Fez, where they stay at Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche and Riad Maison Bleue, respectively.
Travelers spend their most time, though, in Marrakech. Staying at Sofitel Palais Imperial, guests have two full days of private guided tours and drives. While in Marrakech, guests can see the Koutoubia Mosque, El-Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the Musee De Marrakech, the Gardens of Majorelle, the Gardens of Menara, Yves Saint Laurent Museum and the Palmery Museum.
