Ultimate Driving Tours has launched five European itineraries for U.S. travelers so they can explore new territories across the pond. With the value of the euro at its lowest levels against the dollar, traveling to Europe is significantly cheaper for Americans; in addition, the continent topped many American tourists’ travel lists last year and will continue to do so in 2023.
Ultimate Driving Tours’ itineraries across Europe pairs supercars with the best roads, hotels, dining and lifestyle experiences. Below are five of the luxury driving tour operator’s European itineraries to add to this year’s travel wish list.
“European Supercar Tour & Monaco Grand Prix Yacht Hospitality” (May 26 to June 5, 2023) is the signature driving vacation from Ultimate Driving Tours. This 10-day tour of Europe allows guests to experience the F1 race in complete luxury, along with an opportunity to experience a race onboard the operator’s chartered superyacht. Guests can sip champagne and enjoy gourmet canapés whilst taking in the excitement of the Grand Prix from the best seat in the house, before exploring the city. Enthusiasts will be able to continue the thrill of the Grand Prix by driving some of the world’s fastest supercars through five countries on the road to Zurich.
“Le Grand Tour Provence” (May 24-29, 2023) allows guests to experience a curated selection of supercars on Provence and the Cote d’Azur’s popular driving routes, including alpine passes, fast-paced roads and winding country backroads. This supercar tour will see guests spending evenings at luxury hotels throughout Provence and in Nice. Guests can also hop aboard Ultimate Driving Tours’ privately chartered superyacht for the F1 race, the Monaco Grand Prix, where they can enjoy all-inclusive gourmet catering, a cocktail and champagne bar and live entertainment, while taking in the thrills of the showdown.
“Supercar Tour d’Italia” (Tour 1, August 25-September 1; and Tour 2, September 4-11, 2023) includes everything that is Italian, from fast cars, food and wine as well as luxury residences in verdant countryside. Guests will enjoy picturesque driving routes in a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin DB11 and the McLaren 720S. This itinerary includes two different routes zigzagging through Bologna, Maranello, Verona, Bormio, St Moritz and Lake Garda. Enthusiasts can choose to start or end their tour at the iconic Italian Grand Prix with extras available including a private track experience, Champions Club hospitality or a paddock upgrade.
“World Champions F1 Tour” offers a seven-night itinerary (dates yet to be announced) that pays homage to racing’s most beautiful locales and famous circuits. Guests will drive supercars such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren in destinations including Monte Carlo, Maranello, Monza and Imola. The tour includes a range of boutique luxury hotels, ornate converted castles and villas along the route. Guests can dine at popular restaurants each evening. The itinerary includes an intimate evening with three-time F1 World Champion and all-round motorsport legend, Sir Jackie Stewart.
“Taste of Tuscany Supercar Tour” (September 29-October 5, 2023) begins in Florence and continues with the countryside around Sienna. This luxury getaway combines incredible roads, picturesque countryside and Tuscany’s celebrated food and wine scene. Accommodation includes Belmond Castello di Casole, Borgo San Felice and Villa La Massa. Dining experiences include Michelin Guide restaurants Tosca and Poggio Rosso, besides the vineyard setting of Tenuta Torciano and Il Verrocchio.
