Fiji Airways and Alaska Airlines expanded their codeshare agreement to add connections via San Francisco to 19 new U.S. cities. The added flights to Austin, Boston, Las Vegas, Washington D.C., San Diego and more are available for purchase.
The new agreement builds on the two airline’s already existing partnership on flights from Seattle and Portland to Fiji through San Francisco. This codeshare deal adds travelers coming in from Albuquerque (ABQ), Austin (AUS), Boston (BOS), Honolulu (HNL), Indianapolis (IND), Kahului (OGG), Kansas City (MCI), Kona (KOA), Las Vegas (LAS), Nashville (BNA), New Orleans (MSY), Orlando (MCO), Palm Springs (PSP), Raleigh Durham (RDU), Salt Lake City (SLC), San Diego (SAN), Baltimore-Washington International (BWI), Washington Dulles International (IAD) and Washington’s Reagan National Airport (DCA).
Alaska Airlines, with Virgin America and its partners, flies to 115 locations, transporting 44 million fliers each year. The companies offer an average of 1,200 flights per day throughout the U.S. and to Mexico, Canada and Costa Rica. Its loyalty program allows guests to redeem miles on travel to 900 destinations, including the flights added with the new codeshare agreement.
Fiji Airways, with its partners, offers travel to 69 locations in 15 countries. Destinations include Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu, Kiribati, Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands.
