Abercrombie & Kent Unveils A&K Private Estates

Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) has announced the debut of A&K Private Estates, a new collection of five villas in Tuscany. Dubbed “The Chianti Collection,” these estates range from restored farmhouses to ancient towers and are available exclusively through A&K for the summer of 2025. Besides a local host and round-the-clock concierge service, each villa comes with a range of amenities including heated pools, outdoor kitchens, yoga studios, gyms and wine cellars.

Guests of A&K Private Estates can enjoy the "A&K Chianti Experience," which includes welcome and farewell dinners at the villa, prepared by a local chef; a cooking lesson with an Italian chef, tailored to the group’s tastes; expert-led wine tasting at the villa or estate winery; a professional photography session; a case of Tuscan wine and a welcome hamper of local delicacies; daily continental breakfast; private airport transfers, and meet-and-greet service; pre-arrival grocery shopping service and daily housekeeping; and goodie bags for children and adults.

The five villas available for summer 2025 are:

  • Palazzo Bellavista – This historic villa in in Tavarnuzze offers views of the olive, vine and chestnut-clad Tuscan hills. It works both as a secluded retreat for family and friends, and an ideal base for exploring the Chianti wine region and nearby Florence. It has eight en-suite bedrooms and reception rooms including a converted dovecote with views of the Apennines and coast. The grounds include a heated outdoor pool surrounded by more than 34 acres of lawns and wooded areas.
  • Podere La Gloria – This eight-bedroom property in Chianti has traditional honey-hued sandstone buildings restored by its owners—a hotelier and an antiques dealer. Situated between Florence and Siena, it offers privacy and views across Tuscany’s vine-threaded hills from verandas, garden terraces and an infinity pool.
  • Podere La Piana – Located nearly two miles from the medieval town of Radda in Chianti, this restored five-bedroom farmhouse is part of a family-owned wine estate. Perfect for multi-generational gatherings and groups of friends, it has masses of space, from the contemporary living areas to the children’s playground and outdoor pool with views of the olive groves and vineyards. Additional amenities include a gym, steam room, pizza oven, barbecue and wine cellar. The region is known for its historic towns and is an hour’s drive from Florence and Siena.
  • Il Cellese – This estate in Castellina dates to the 1960s, and offers an immersive experience in Italy’s wine region. The restored Tuscan villa, accommodating 19 guests, includes 10 bedrooms, a heated indoor-outdoor pool, a spa with a sauna, an outdoor dining area with a pizza oven, and a yoga platform surrounded by olive, lavender and cypress gardens. Exclusive wine-tasting sessions with a seasoned cellar master are available.
  • Borgo Castelletto – Situated on a working wine estate a mile from Radda, this six-bedroom villa offers views of Chianti’s olive groves and vineyards, especially from the tower terrace. Ideal for families and friends, it has several terraces for outdoor dining, including one with views of the pool and children’s play area. Entertainment options include billiards, foosball, pétanque and, upon request, a yoga studio and hammam.

This launch is just the beginning of A&K’s expansion of its villa offerings, with plans to introduce more properties in other destinations.
