Les Bordes Estate and Six Senses have announced that Six Senses Residences Loire Valley are now available for reservation. This exclusive collection of 52 homes is located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site in France’s Loire Valley.
The sales launch marks the inaugural phase of 12 homes, heralding a significant step in the realization of the fully permitted Six Senses Loire Valley, which also comprises a 50-key five-star hotel centered around the historical Château Bel-Air. The hotel is planned to include an 18,000-square-foot Six Senses Spa, besides three restaurants, two bars, a pool bar and more.
The three- to-seven-bedroom residential villas are located approximately 90 minutes south of Paris and only 20 minutes from the Château de Chambord. Spread across the 1,400-acre woodland estate, residents can enjoy an active, community-driven lifestyle.
Six Senses Residences Loire Valley accommodations range from 2,360 square feet to 7,125 square feet set on plots up to 1.72 acres. Every residence has a pool with views of nature and is accompanied by a suite of high-touch services—from concierge, childcare and private chefs to round-the-clock security, landscaping and housekeeping.
Six Senses Spa will offer signature services such as massages, facials and body treatments, as well as holistic programs including sleep regimens, fitness classes, meditation and more. The spa will be accompanied by indoor and outdoor pools, a gym and a yoga studio. An organic garden will grow plants and herbs for locally inspired treatments and Alchemy Bar workshops.
Through a new organic kitchen garden and Earth Lab, residents and guests will be able to learn about the property’s conservation initiatives. The culinary experience at Six Senses Loire Valley will showcase the region’s food and wine. The ground floor of the estate’s château will be transformed into a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, a private dining area, a lounge bar and a wine cellar for residents, guests and—by reservation—the public.
Residents will have the ability to apply for the Les Bordes Country Club Membership, which encompasses access to existing lakes, a beach, and recreational facilities, as well as the ability to apply for membership to Les Bordes Golf Club, which affords access to the central Clubhouse and championship courses. Through homeownership, residents will also have the ability to play golf on the Wild Piglet course.
Already home to a golf club with three world-ranked courses, Les Bordes Estate will house tennis courts, equestrian facilities, a go-kart track, open-air archery, a petting farm, fishing lake, swimming lake and resident’s white sand beach with jetty, electric quad bike riding and cycling trails. The estate’s 15th-century priory will soon be renovated, with new elements added to create a piazza-style area on the edge of one of the estate lakes, henceforth known as Le Village—a relaxed social hub for the Les Bordes Estate community. It will include a restaurant with a large event space, a café, a zero-waste shop, a wine bar, a clubhouse area with a games room, a vegetable garden, a bakery, an art gallery and workshop studio, a farmer’s market with local and artisanal products, and more.
Construction is scheduled to commence in 2024, with first move-ins and the hotel’s opening earmarked for 2026. The Sales Suite, located within Château Bel Air at Les Bordes Estate, is open for appointments.
