Internova Travel Group has selected Global Travel Collection (GTC) as the new name for the division representing its recently combined high-service premium and luxury travel businesses, as well as its membership programs.
In May, Internova Travel Group CEO J.D. O’Hara announced a major reorganization at the company, formerly known as Travel Leaders Group. The restructuring included the creation of a single division focused on bringing together its high-service premium and luxury travel brands, including Protravel International, Tzell Travel Group, Andrew Harper, In the Know Experiences, Colletts Travel, All Star Travel Group and R. Crusoe & Son. The announcement of the new name for this division was set for this month. The division will be known as Global Travel Collection, but travel advisors will continue to use these established brands under the GTC group of companies.
Angie Licea, president of GTC, said the new company brand identity reflects both the evolution of the division, as well as its vision for the future.
In September, Licea announced that while Protravel and Tzell Travel are merging into one organization, the two iconic brand names will continue to exist. Independent advisors may choose to use one of those names or retain and build their own brand. To that end, Licea said the leadership team is tasked with driving a new level of excellence and innovation to provide advisors with the support they need to run service-oriented businesses with sophisticated marketing opportunities.
The company is focused on ensuring that clients have access to the very best that travel has to offer through exclusive partnerships with travel providers and destinations for discerning travelers.
