Jetset World Travel, an Atlanta-based travel agency, has announced its acquisition of EntreTravel. Lindsey Epperly and Jeremy Sulek, CEO and COO of Jetset World Travel, respectively, made the decision to exclusively buyout the EntreTravel program to provide their advisors with proprietary access to one of the industry’s leading programs on travel entrepreneurship.
EntreTravel, which was founded in 2019, has existed as a standalone program with the intent of elevating the travel industry through standardized education; the original business model was designed to be agnostic to any agency or consortia affiliation. In its nearly three years of business, the program has been contracted out by several host agencies for training, which sparked the idea of acquiring the program.
“We have a plan for this program to truly skyrocket with Jetset at the helm” said Sulek in a press statement. “We’re already in the works of building out a second set of modules dedicated to advisors looking to scale their books of business by building and growing a team.”
Note: Past graduates of EntreTravel will still recognized for their hard work and completion of the program, but the course will no longer be available to those outside of Jetset World Travel now that the acquisition is complete.
This follows a slew of changes at the agency, dating back to last summer when it, as Epperly Travel, acquired Chicago-based Jetset World Travel. The agencies combined for $25 million in pre-COVID sales revenue. A goal of the move was to grow its independent contractor model. The recent acquisition of EntreTravel furthers that goal.
Then, in March 2022, “Epperly Travel” officially rebranded as Jetset World Travel. The move was made, according to Epperly, to lessen her visibility as the face of the brand in order to lead the team. "The goal of this transition is to go from 'me to we'—meaning to take the spotlight off of me as the founder and place it onto our entire team, not just from a media-facing standpoint but also within our daily operations," she told us at the time.
