Airside Mobile, Inc., the developer of the Mobile Passport app—which is authorized by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to expedite travelers through entry processes at more than 30 U.S. airports and cruise ports—is teaming up with Expedited Travel to offer RushMyPassport services to get a new U.S. passport in as little as 24 hours.
With Mobile Passport, travelers save time by securely submitting their passport information and customs declaration form to CBP on their mobile device, then proceeding to designated Mobile Passport Control lanes when entering the United States.
A general rule for anyone traveling internationally is to make sure their passport is valid; Mobile Passport members receive an in-app notification when their U.S. passport is within six months of the expiration date. Now, travelers will have the opportunity to renew their U.S. passport even faster with RushMyPassport. (Note: Canadian passport holders with B1 or B2 visa status may also use the Mobile Passport app and will receive an in-app notification when their passport is within one year of the expiration date; however, RushMyPassport services only apply to U.S. passports at this time.)
The routine passport processing time for the U.S. State Department recently increased from four to six weeks to six to eight weeks. RushMyPassport is able to facilitate the processing of a U.S. passport in under 12 days and as quickly as 24 hours with the U.S. Department of State. Additional services include overnight shipping for rushed passport applications, full-tracking visibility throughout the approval process, form-fill automation for application completion, biometric passport photo services, and free assistance from passport specialists.
Mobile Passport is available in the Apple App Store for iOS and Google Play Store for Android.
