Signature Travel Network recently completed its 2023 program of Regional Meetings with agency owners and managers, hosting more than 200 attendees in five cities. Following these meetings, Signature held Travel Exchanges and training for travel advisors and agency managers in Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, and Los Angeles, hosting over 600 delegates from the network and 350 travel partners.
“We are delighted with the outstanding results achieved this year”, said Alex Sharpe, Signature’s president and CEO; “not only did we have our best attendance ever. We also received the highest satisfaction survey scores to date from agency owners, advisors, and travel partners.”
The regional events had three components: First, Signature agency owners attended a one-day meeting that included a review of key network initiatives, including updates on technology, marketing, training, sales and business development. Alex Sharpe presented the network’s financial results for its fiscal year 2022-23, which ended on May 31, as well as plans and opportunities for the 2023-24 cycle.
Then Signature advisors and agency owners attended a two-day program, called Travel Exchanges. The agenda included a focus on advisor specialties and luxury travel, as well as updates on Signature’s Hotel & Resort Program, destination specialists, exploration travel, and new marketing and technology tools for advisors. Attendees learned about smart strategies and the inside track for navigating travel to Europe, and the latest updates from Abercrombie & Kent, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Classic Vacations and popular destinations such as Morocco, Canada, Japan, South Africa and Croatia. As part of the program, advisors had timed appointments with up to 40 Signature travel partners over two days. Feedback from Signature’s partners was very positive, with high satisfaction scores.
Finally, 145 new-to-industry advisors attended the Embark sales program. This intensive six-hour training session focused on sharpening sales and consulting skills, as well as professional fees.
