Signature Travel Network welcomed new preferred partners to its 2019 annual conference.
Signature added 54 hotels to the 2020 Hotels & Resorts Collection, bringing the total number of hotels to over 1,100. Hotels are invited to join based on product quality, market demand and member agencies' needs, with a focus on new and trending destinations and differentiated products and experiences, Signature said.
Select hotels in new markets for 2020 include Cabrits Resort & Spa Kempinski in Portsmouth, Dominica, and Halepuna Waikiki in Honolulu, Hawaii. These two properties were partners in Signature’s First program, a marketing initiative supporting new and newly renovated hotels to generate awareness and sales prior to doors opening.
Signature also added two cruise line suppliers to its cruise portfolio in 2019. Both Virgin Voyages and Avalon joined Signature as preferred partners on May 1, 2019. Tourism board partners added this year are Belize Tourism Board; Catalan Tourist Board; Discover Puerto Rico; Explore Charleston; Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp; VisitBritain; and Visit Portugal. MT Sobek was added to the land portfolio this year, specializing in small-group and custom adventures on all seven continents.
Signature Travel Network’s annual sales conference took place from December 2 – 5 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. During the event the organization launched a new charitable foundation, Travel Elevates, plus it reported strong growth for 2019 and sales pacing ahead for next year.
