Valerie Wilson Travel, A Frosch Company started the summer season with a virtual event for clients last week. The three-day “Travel Fest” connected Valerie Wilson Travel (VWT) clients directly with executives at major travel brands, including Delta Air Lines, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Lindblad Expeditions, Silversea Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Event attendees were given updates on the state of travel, a sneak peek at what is to come in the next year and were provided exclusive offers.
Over the three days, clients had a chance to hear from, as well as interact with and ask questions to top travel executives. Making this event a way to not only disseminate information directly to travelers, but to allow a chance to quell any fears they may have about traveling in 2021. Each session was two hours, allowing suppliers 15 minutes to speak with room for questions at the end of their presentation.
“Our goal was to create a highly interactive event that was all about our clients,” said Kimberly Wilson Wetty, co-president of VWT, in a written statement. “We wanted to give them a chance to get questions answered and hear directly from suppliers about not only safety protocols, but the exciting new happenings in the travel industry. VWT is ready to bring the buzz and excitement back to travel and we want to take our clients along for that journey.”
As more and more travelers take begin to explore the world again, VWT says it is focusing on bringing information directly to clients from the source, as well as bringing the excitement back to traveling.
In other recent VWT news, the travel agency was recently purchased by Frosch for an undisclosed sum. Valerie Wilson Travel operates as an independent brand under the Frosch umbrella.
