St. Barth Announces 11th Edition of Gourmet Festival

The St. Barth Tourism Committee has announced the lineup of guest chefs for the 2024 St. Barth Gourmet Festival. The 11th edition of the annual festival will return November 5-10, 2024, and pay tribute to French gastronomy. Each guest chef will be hosted by a partner hotel or venue where they will create and prepare a multi-course menu to be served for the festival’s consecutive nights. The menu will comprise a mix of their signature dishes, as well as locally inspired twists.

Participating outlets include Hôtel Le Sereno, Restaurant L’Esprit Saline, Le Barthelemy Hotel & Spa, Hôtel Rosewood Le Guanahani St.Barth, Nikki Beach Saint Barth, Cheval Blanc St. Barth and L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Saint Barth. The lineup of guest chefs at the 2024 St. Barth Gourmet Festival includes:

  • Florian Favario, chef and owner of L’Auberge de Montmin, France; guest chef at Hôtel Le Sereno
  • Dimitri Droisneau, chef and owner of La Villa Madie, Cassis, France; guest chef at Restaurant L’Esprit Saline
  • Christophe Bacquié, chef and owner of La Table des Amis, Le Mas Les Eydins, Bonnieux, France; guest chef at Le Barthelemy Hotel & Spa
  • Marcel Ravin, chef at Blue Bay Marcel Ravin, Monte Carlo Bay, Monaco; guest chef at Hôtel Rosewood Le Guanahani St.Barth
  • Julien Duboué, chef at Boulom, Paris, France; guest chef at Nikki Beach Saint Barth
  • Fabien Ferré, chef at La Table du Castellet, France; guest chef at Cheval Blanc St. Barth
  • Claire Heitzler, pastry chef of Claire Heitzler & Producteurs; guest chef at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Saint Barth
  • Louis Gachet, executive chef at Le Couvent des Minimes, restaurant le Feuillé; guest chef at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Saint Barth

The festivities will begin with an opening ceremony hosted by Le Sereno, with samplings by each guest chef, showcasing the meals to follow throughout the week. Claire Heitzler, pastry chef, will prepare specialties for walk-ins to taste at the Boutique of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon as well as creations at the restaurant. Throughout the festival, several contests and additional programming will also be hosted, including:

  • The St. Barth Bartender Contest – The contest will take place at Rosewood le Guanahani, showcasing local talent. This event will take place on Thursday, November 7.
  • The St. Barth Chef Challenge – Attendees can watch expert chefs compete in a number of contests at Bonito on Sunday, November 10.
  • The Petite Toques Competition – Hosted by Le Barthelemy on Saturday, November 9, this fun-filled competition is an ideal way for children and parents to participate in the festival’s culinary experience.

Tasting menus will be offered for dinner service. Each chef will prepare a multi-course menu at a fixed price. Reservations for the same can be made by contacting the festival’s partner hotels and restaurants directly.
