Round Hill Hotel & Villas Unveils 2024/25 Michelin Chef Series

Round Hill Hotel and Villas’ Executive Chef Martin Ian Maginley has announced a new culinary event series, "A Culinary Constellation: Michelin Star Chefs at Round Hill." The series will include two Michelin-starred chefs, namely Marcelo Fukuya from Kinoshita restaurant in São Paulo, Brazil, and Theodor Falser of Johannesstube in South Tyrol, northern Italy.

Commencing the series, Michelin chef Marcelo Fukuya will highlight the essence of Japanese cuisine at Round Hill November 28-30, 2024. Guests will be treated to a special Thanksgiving weekend, including:

  • November 28 – Sashimi demonstration led by Chef Fukuya; complimentary for guests
  • November 28 –Thanksgiving buffet with holiday classics, all elevated by a Japanese live cooking station
  • November 29 – A culinary fusion where guests can savor a dish that harmonizes Japanese and Jamaican flavors in an immersive dining experience
  • November 30 – A five-course dinner menu that showcases Chef Fukuya’s artistry and celebrates the spirit of Thanksgiving

Continuing the series, Chef de Cuisine Theodor Falser will showcase his talent April 18-20, 2025. Round Hill guests will have the opportunity to witness the chef’s cooking firsthand with a variety of events, including:

  • April 18 – Cooking demonstration by Chef Falser, spotlighting Asian flavors. The evening will conclude with a delightful selection of canapés and cocktails
  • April 19 – A five-course Italian tasting dinner menu prepared by Chef Falser will showcase his take on classic Italian cuisine
  • April 20 – Besides enjoying an Easter brunch prepared by the culinary team, guests will indulge in a Michelin-star station showcasing a dish created by Chef Falser

Chef Falser’s culinary creations will be available on Round Hill’s menu for six months following his visit, allowing guests to continue savoring them well beyond the event.

A portion of the proceeds from the events will be donated to Hanover Charities, based in Hanover, Jamaica. The charitable organization is dedicated to improving education, health and community development for residents of Hanover Parish.
