Royal Mansour Marrakech has launched the Royal Mansour Cooking School. The luxury hotel is home to four restaurants led by Michelin-starred chefs and, now, the cooking school offers culinary enthusiasts and aspiring chefs alike the opportunity to hone their skills.
The Royal Mansour Cooking School is equipped with professional equipment centered around an island where students can cook shoulder-to-shoulder with the hotel’s chefs. The customized culinary workshops welcome all skill levels. The two-hour classes are available across three culinary themes—Moroccan, Italian and pastry—each concluding with an al fresco tasting of the dishes at a table situated under the veranda, overlooking the hotel’s gardens.
The Moroccan cooking class is offered Saturday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon. It explores traditional Moroccan recipes, such as the classic chicken tagine with olives and lemons, M’rouzia lamb with saffron almonds and spinach-cheese briouates. The Italian cooking class is offered Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to noon. Participants can master the art of crafting fresh pasta, potato gnocchi and the amatriciana sauce. The pastry class is offered Monday through Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. An introduction to the art of patisserie, learning the intricacy of creating profiteroles, vanilla ice cream, chocolate tarts, cookies and other sweet treats.

Royal Mansour Marrakech is a culinary destination with two Michelin-starred chefs. Hélène Darroze leads the new La Grande Brasserie, launching this fall as well as La Grande Table Marocaine. Other culinary concepts include Sesamo, where multi-starred Chef Massimiliano Alajmo combines his Italian roots and locally sourced ingredients; and Le Jardin, the Asian-fusion restaurant.
