Kensington Tours has launched “Beyond Villas by Kensington Tours” in response to the demand for more private luxury accommodations coupled with customized itineraries and curated experiences.
This “villa and beyond” approach includes luxurious private residences featuring pools, jacuzzis, in-home gyms, gardens and more, coupled with a range of add-on services including private chef, butler, in-villa spa treatments and even yoga or fitness instructors for private sessions. Private guided tours, yacht charters and private jet services are all part of the villa offering.
The portfolio includes an initial collection of more than 760 properties across the Caribbean, Europe and South Africa. The portfolio is likely to expand in spring 2023 with 200-plus properties across several continents, besides a selection of villas in Hawaii and popular ski destinations.
Guests can choose from fully curated itineraries or work with one of Kensington’s Villas Specialists to create their own. Sample itineraries include:
- Caribbean – Travelers can choose from a range of villa options across St. Barth's, Punta Cana, St. Martin and Anguilla, among other islands. What distinguishes the experience from other trips at top resorts or residences are the addition of private planes, catamarans, immersive local tours and personal guides for luxury yet private experiences
- Europe – There is something for every kind of traveler from a chalet in the French Alps where guests can enjoy a hot air balloon apres-ski; a Tuscan villa coupled with horseback riding, truffle hunting and wine tasting in Montepulciano; a villa on the edge of Ornos Bay in Mykonos or St. Tropez where guests will enjoy a dedicated Michelin-trained chef during their stay; private yacht charter to explore the Mediterranean; and private heli-tour to enjoy views of the French Riviera
- Africa – Guests can choose from villas in all corners of this continent, including South Africa where a villa in Cape Town serves as the launching point for a safari in Sabi Sands Park; private helicopter ride to enjoy lunch on the beach; off-road excursion to Simon’s Town to spot rogue penguins on a secret beach that’s typically only accessible to locals, and more.
